If you love to travel, you're probably familiar with the packing needs it requires. Those packing needs vary depending on your destination. City-bound destinations, for example, are typically less stressful to pack for - if you forget something, you buy it once you get where you're going! But what if you're traveling outside of the city, to a cabin in the countryside or a campsite? Or what if you’re backpacking from place to place? In these cases, packing can be more stressful. You have to include essentials for your plans and for health and safety preparation alike. And that includes packing relevant first aid kits and items.
That's where we can help. The Sportsman's Doctor specializes in providing custom first aid kits to our customers meant to combat specific problems experienced when we’re far from home. Our kits are unique because we go above and beyond in providing the medical supplies you may need for all of your travels. Every kit contains basic kit materials as well as additional prescription medications that your standard, run-of-the-mill first aid kits do not have!
Additionally, all of our kits are created and reviewed by Fred Teribury, MD. This ensures that our products are overseen by an individual with over two decades of military and medical experience, and are carefully crafted to meet every adventurer's needs. Plus, when working with The Sportsman’s Doctor, you will always have access to a medical doctor/provider who is experienced and board-certified in internal medicine.
Ready to start preparing for your getaway? Our kits are ready for purchase right here on our website! We are also able to answer questions and take custom orders, and invite people looking for additional information to contact us and discuss your kit needs.

Yes! The American College of Emergency Physicians and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention both encourage travelers to pack a first-aid kit or a travel health kit that can address common medical problems. A good first aid kit should include any medicine you take on a regular basis at home; pain relievers; allergy medication; stomach reflux medication; motion sickness medication; bandages and antibacterial supplies; skincare supplies; and even gloves, to ensure you can treat any issues that develop in a hygienic manner.
Packing needs - and the need for different travel first aid kit medications - vary from destination to destination. Because of this, it's important to consider current travel health and safety information while packing. For example, government websites can provide in-depth reports on international concerns, should that be a part of your upcoming trip. If you're staying more local - perhaps to visit a national park - local resources will be more helpful.
Our products are specifically designed to treat the minor issues that may affect us during our travels. The key word here is minor! Our products are not trauma or emergency treatment kits and should not be used as such.
