Meet Fred Teribury Jr., MD

Fred Teribury, MD was born and raised in upstate New York. He entered the United States Army infantry following high school, eventually successfully completing assessment and selection for the United States Army Special Forces. Fred then completed the Special Forces qualification course as a Special Operations Medical NCO/18 Delta. As a team medic, he acquired extensive experience and practical knowledge of first aid and travel illnesses.

Subsequently, Fred returned to the states to attend college. He went on to attend medical school at East Carolina University, and to complete a residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre (Pennsylvania). To date, he has served in private practices and as a hospitalist.

Still, after leaving active duty to fulfill his medical calling, Fred felt like something was missing. So he joined Vighter Medical as Acting Medical Director, where he could fulfill contracts under the Department of State for multiple military operational areas while continuing to work as a hospitalist. Today, Fred also operates The Sportsman's Doctor, hoping to help people avoid a trip to the doctor due to outdoor adventures and injuries. If you are ever in need of a good first aid kit, Fred is the man for the job!
